Requests

When you request something it can take 1 to 5 days for the request to be processed so please be patient. When your request is done you will receive a e-mail.

A inactive channel will be deleted after 5 weeks of inactivity, if you have sub-channels make sure you use them or they’ll be deleted!

Personal Channel:

A Personal Channel is a channel that will be named after your nickname on TeamSpeak so for example my Personal Channel would be called KingHawk’s Channel. The purpose of a Personal Channel is to have your own space where you can invite anyone you want. You will probably have a group of friends you play online games with and if you don’t you can just invite the people you meet online. Always be careful who you are inviting to your channel since every time you do not want someone to have access your channel you will have to change the password of your channel which might be annoying for your other friends.

When your channel is created you will receive a e-mail with a Channel Admin Privilege Key. This key will enable you to change some settings in your channel like the password. You can use the key at the top of TeamSpeak under the Permissions permissions menu, here you choose for Use Privilege Key and enter the key you received in the e-mail.

Sub-channels:

Sub-channels can be requested in case you don’t have enough space in your single channel. If you have too many people in your channel and you end up playing against each other or play a different game you probably do not want to hear each other, in this case you may want to request some sub-channels to create enough space for everyone. The maximum of sub-channels that can be requested is 3 these channels will be called Chat 1 to 3 by default. You can’t change the names of these sub-channels yourself but you can request their names to changed by requesting it at support, there is a special form for changing sub-channel names available.

Bot ignore:

The bot that is running on the TeamSpeak server will move people to the AFK channel to keep the channels clean of people who are idle. Since you have your own channel you might not want people from your channel being moved to the AFK channel. That is why you can send a request to have your channel added to the ignore list of the bot.
